Multiplayer on 4 has improved over time. New maps and game types are a great deal better than release. If anything I would want something to be done about the single player... I enjoyed 4, but the last 2 levels of "run and press the button" was a terrible way to end it.
Sadly I will be missing out this time though :(
I liked the first one, it was something a bit different that felt "next gen" at the time and had one of the better MP experiences outside of ghost recon. I also thought it looked really nice (at the time).

I love playing online. Yeah there are plenty of dicks, but I really don't mind not talking to them. Xbox's chat parties make it so you and your friends don't need to talk to the usual chaff, and if I am not playing with friends I have no urge to communicate with randoms.
I agree with Bolts. MMOs might not be everyones particular cup of tea, but if you're going to try one the best are subscription based by a long shot.
I lost 4 years to Ultima online once... Haven't touched any since, damn am I tempted by Elder Scrolls though.

It also has smaller no vehicle deathmatch game types like Cod.

It kind of looked how it should have 3-4 years ago leaving miles behind the competition... The thing that winds me up most of all though... is how poor their particle system is with the explosions etc. They clearly are still sitting on their laurels for the 7th year running.

If you don't tend to suffer motion sickness you'll be fine. I find it great, others get a little woozy but they're not so used to dealing with Z depth in general.
The only thing is the resolution on the dev kit is low, when it's HD things are going to get real!

I tend to play with a dedicated Squad of friends so it doesn't effect me so much. I still stand by the fact that a team of kill whores not focusing on the objective can't win... Because if the objective isn't met by the end of the round, you lose.
I disagree that a team of kill whores would dominate a smart objective based team. Battlefield is all about balancing out the objectives and the threat. Don't get me wrong, you killing people is partially beneficial but when your teams concentrating on an M-Com you best be near by :P
In the UK with current conversion it's coming out at $387.31 (£250)... or basically a crap deal for a failing console. No wonder EU sales are the lowest eh?
